Our growing farm business is actively seeking to acquire a strategic parcel of land along the bustling Highway 70 corridor, specifically near High Hill, Missouri. This expansion is crucial for our vision of integrated local food production. Our primary objective is to establish a state-of-the-art chicken processing facility, allowing us to manage the entire process from farm to table with greater efficiency and quality control. Complementing this, we plan to incorporate a commercial kitchen on-site, enabling us to diversify our product offerings beyond raw poultry to include value-added goods like seasoned meats, broths, and other culinary creations.
Furthermore, the high visibility of a Highway 70 location offers an unparalleled opportunity to open a dedicated farmers market retail front, directly connecting us with consumers, showcasing our farm's bounty, and strengthening the local food economy in the heart of rural Missouri. This prime location along the I-70 corridor also makes it incredibly easy to branch out and reach a broader customer base across the state. This investment will not only enhance our operational capabilities but also solidify our commitment to providing fresh, locally sourced products to our community.

We have collaborated with Callaway Farm to Fork by JT Farms to introduce I-70 Farmstead and Foods. By bringing our operations together, we’re not only increasing our ability to provide high-quality, locally grown foods and meats, but also expanding our reach to better serve our communities. This collaboration allows us to offer a wider range of fresh, farm-raised products while maintaining the values and care that both J&D’s Ranchette and Callaway Farm to Fork by JT Farms have been known for. With I-70 Farmstead and Foods, local just got a whole lot closer.

The City of High Hill has expressed immense enthusiasm for our project and holds high hopes for us to acquire the necessary land to build our chicken processing facility. During recent discussions, city officials were incredibly receptive, emphasizing that our initiative is imperative for their community's revitalization. They see this as a great opportunity to not only bring new jobs and economic activity but also to play a significant role in rebuilding and strengthening the City of High Hill. The prospect of our farm anchoring a new local food hub, complete with a commercial kitchen and retail front, resonates deeply with their vision for a thriving future.
We're currently looking for land within High Hill's City limits, hoping that our retail front will boost city revenue and revitalize the city. If that's not possible, our next goal is to secure commercially zoned land nearby with highway frontage for easy customer access. Once we acquire our land we will keep up with updates on our progress of our building!

If that fails we have brainstormed a few options that could work to be able to provide our customers with their meat needs.
